In her performance “More Moor” sustainable food artist Anja Fiedler will be serving up edible peat as a surprising and tasty treat for the palate. The peat will be served in three phases according to the current stages of peat in the world: fresh and moist, as thawing permafrost and flamed.
Never eaten peat? Indirectly, we eat it every day. Although damaged peatlands are among the most potent emitters of CO2, wet peatlands are most effective climate protection. Garnished with facts, the food becomes a delicious temptation and thought-provoking fare.
